| Application/Uses | Entomopathogenic fungus, used for control of a wide range of coleopteran, homopteran and heteropteran pests.Beauveria bassiana is a natural fungus that is found in soils worldwide. After application, the spores of the fungus attach themselves to the cuticle of the insects and begin to germinate. The growing hyphae penetrate the cuticle and begin to colonize the insect's body. As the fungus grows, the whitefly/thrips/aphids insecticide releases toxic metabolites that kill the insect. This mode of action has broad-based efficacy against insect pests and provides long-lasting control. |
| ECOTOXICOLOGY | The whitefly/thrips/aphids insecticide is easy to apply and can be applied as a foliar spray or soil drench. For foliar application, mix 0.5-1.0 gram per liter of water and apply evenly over the plants. For soil application, mix 2-3 grams per liter of water and apply to the soil around the roots. Apply every 7-10 days until the pest population is controlled. |
