Application/Uses	This product is a bipyridine salt contact killing herbicide that can be quickly absorbed by plant green tissues and the affected area turns yellow. After contact with soil, it quickly loses its activity.
ECOTOXICOLOGY	Acute toxicity oral LD50: 214~222 mg/kg in rats. Rat transdermal LD50>424 mg/kg. Irritating to rabbit eyes and skin. The human skin has the lowest degree of absorption; Exposure can cause irritation and delayed healing of wounds, and can cause temporary damage to nails. Extreme inhalation of aerosol droplets may lead to nosebleeds. If swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed in large amounts through the skin, it can be fatal, with a lethal dose of 6-12 g. Chronic toxic maximum no effect dose (NOEL), fed to experimental rats for 2 years at 0.58 mg/(kg · d).   Ecological toxicity Acute oral LD50 (14 days) of 158 mg/kg for mountain quail and 83 mg/kg for green headed wild duck. Feeding experiment LC50: Mountain toothed quail 1570, Japanese quail 721, Green headed wild duck>2677, Ring necked pheasant 2.004 mg/kg (feed). Rainbow trout LC50 (96 h) 6.1 mg/L. Water flea LC50 (48 hours) 5.9 mg/L. Ec50 (96 h) 11 μ G/L. Bee LD50 (120 h): Acute oral 13 μ G per piece. Earthworm LC50 (14 days) 94 mg/kg (dry soil). According to existing experimental results, it has been shown that Diquat is low toxic to bees, earthworms, and fish, toxic to silkworms, birds, and daphnia, and highly toxic to algae.
