| Application/Uses | This product is an insecticide composed of a combination of Profenofos and cypermethrin. Profenofos is an organic insecticide with quick action and good permeability on plant leaves, which can inhibit cholinesterase in insects; Cypermethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide with a wide insecticidal spectrum and rapid efficacy. It is stable to light and heat, and has a killing effect on the eggs of certain pests. Its residual efficacy period is long. The combination of the two can effectively control cotton bollworm. 1. Apply the pesticide when the cotton bollworm is fully hatched to the peak of the second instar larvae, and mix 50-100 kg of water per mu to evenly and thoroughly spray. 2. This medicine is harmful to alfalfa and sorghum. Avoid drifting. 3. Do not apply pesticides on windy days or expected rainfall within 1 hour. |
| ECOTOXICOLOGY | Acute toxicity: Oral LD50 at 358 mg/kg in rats and 700 mg/kg in rabbits; Percutaneous LD50: 3300 mg/kg for rats and 472 mg/kg for rabbits. Rats inhale LC50 3 mg/L air for 4 hours. Mild irritation to rabbit eyes and moderate irritation to rabbit skin. Chronic toxicity: Maximum no effect dose (NOEL), using 38% emulsion as the test drug, feeding rats 0.3 mg/(kg · d) for a 2-year trial; Lifetime feeding of rats, 0.1 mg/(kg · d); Dogs are fed 2.9 mg/(kg · d) (JMPR) for six months; Mouse 0.08 mg/(kg · d). Ecotoxicity: Bromophos is toxic to fish, aquatic organisms, bees, silkworms, and birds. Acute oral LC50 (8 days, mg/kg) in birds: 70-200 for mountain quails,>1000 for Japanese quails, and 150-612 for wild ducks. Fish LC50 (96 h, mg/L): 0.08 for rainbow trout, 0.09 for crucian carp, and 0.3 for blue gilled sunfish. Water flea EC50 (48 h) 1.06 μ G/L. Near barbed chain algae EC50 (72 hours) 1.16 mg/L. Other aquatic organisms: highly toxic to crustaceans, blue crab LC50 33 μ G/L. Earthworm LC50 (14 days) 372 mg/kg. Bee LD50 contact (48 hours) 0.102 μ G per piece. |
